Are you a sports coach or graduate seeking secondary school work?
A popular secondary school located in on the outskirts of Bolton are currently seeking to appoint a Sports Graduate on a full-time basis on their return to schol.
The school have identified a gap for a recent graduate, ideally someone with an interest in teaching to support their PE department and help with lesson cover when needed.
Sports Graduate Role;
- Full-time position available for a Sports Graduate.
- This is a rare opportunity to work closely with the schools PE department and support the school with classroom cover where a teacher is absent.
- Expected pay of GBP1100-GBP1250 a month whilst gaining key skills that will contribute to a career in teaching in the future.
- The incoming staff member must come from a sports background or have a degree in Physical Education.
- Large ‘Good’ graded Secondary school based in Bolton
This is an excellent opportunity for someone to secure employment on a temporary basis in a supportive secondary school that is committed to the future development of all staff.
Roles will include;
- Leading classes and warm-up activities in the absence of the class teacher.
- Organising and putting away equipment before and after each lesson of PE.
- Setting up lessons of PE as specified by the main class teacher.
- Covering lessons for other departments within the school.
The school recruiting for this role is much larger than other secondary schools in the area. In their most recent Ofsted report the school was graded good overall. The school has been commended for its commitment to its pupils and its excellent facilities.
The school is located in Bolton and can easily be accessed via the M61 motorway. Public transport links are easily accessible via the surrounding areas of Wigan, Chorley, Preston, Bury and Salford.
