Sports Graduate Position

An alternative provision based in Hull are looking for a Sports Graduate Teaching Assistant to work with students across KS1 to KS4 with SEN and challenging behaviour. The Head Teacher is looking for an individual who has a sporting background or experience to work with students on a 1to 1 basis or group basis.

The role will involve working with the students closely in order to gain a greater understanding of the individuals needs and reengage their learning and development. This role will pose unique challenges and rewards for the successful applicant; you will work with individuals who have been previously let down in the past and you will have the chance to put that right. For the right candidate this opportunity can provide the right platform for fantastic career and professional development.

The ideal candidate:

• Sports graduate or sports coaching experience
• Behavioural management
• SEN or Teaching Assistant experience desirable but not essential
• Commitment and determination
• Strong communication skills
• Live in or be able to commute to the Hull area
