Sports Coach required in Preston

Are you a Youth Worker or Sports Coach based in the Preston area?

If so, Teaching Personnel work closely with a Preston based School which provides support for pupils who display challenging behaviours and pupils with SEMH difficulties and Autism. The School caters for pupils aged between 11-16 years old and the pupils in school are predominantly male.

The role will start as soon as possible and will start on a supply basis. Therefore, flexibility is key as you may have to work initially on a temporary basis. However, the school are looking for someone on a long term, if not permanent basis and therefore the role could become permanent. The role will include a mix of in class support and delivering sports lessons.

The candidate must be hard working, have experience supporting pupils with SEMH difficulties and challenging behaviours and ideally hold their Team Teach qualification. However, this is not essential.

The successful candidate can expect to be paid between £51-61 per day and benefit from the CPD Teaching Personnel have to offer.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
