Modern school in Oldham seeking Sports Coach for PE department

We are looking for a Sports Coach to join the PE department within our client school in Oldham to assist in the development of PE pupils of varying abilities, from year 7 pupils all the way up to year 11 students preparing for their GCSE examinations. This is a full time position starting after October half term and would be an excellent opportunity for a recent sports or coaching graduate seeking further experience in a secondary school setting before considering enrolling on a PGCE or similar teacher training programme.

'We require a Sports Coach to join our PE department to work on a full time basis to support our PE students in both practical and theory lessons. Our ideal candidate would have previous experience working as a Sports Coach within a secondary school environment, however we could consider applicants with similar work experience or recent sports or coaching graduates who are seeking a career in education' - Assistant Head

  • Full time Sports Coach position starting after the Easter break
  • Earn up to £1300 a month (dependent on experience) on a weekly basis
  • Further development opportunities available through our training courses

You will be working within a modern secondary school based In Oldham where sport participation is heavily encouraged and achievements are celebrated heavily. The school hold regular sporting events such as football coaching days for the pupils where the school heavily invest in further development and coaching from internal and external sources.
