Sports Coach

Are you a recent graduate seeking to develop your experience within a school setting? Do you wish to gain valuable practical experience prior to going on to train to teach? If so, a sports coach is required on a full time basis, starting immediately until the end of the academic year.

• Sports Coach required immediately – Salford.
• Must hold a relevant degree level qualification within PE/Sports or equivalent experience to be considered.
• Close to public transport links and the M602/A580.
• Excellent rate of pay GBP300 per week.

What to expect?

As the successful Sports Coach, you can expect to join a welcoming staff team based within the Eccles region of Salford. The PE department provides access to state of the art resources, a large fully equipped sports hall, all within modern facilities.

Your role and responsibilities support will include providing support within the department, planning and preparing activities and delivering lessons, with the support of class teachers. You may also be required to cover pre-planned lessons across the curriculum in the absence of class teachers with full support provided. You will also be responsible for the management of behaviour in line with school behaviour policies and ensuring all set tasks are completed.
