Sports Coach/Behaviour Support Assistant

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with an SEN school in Aldershot who are seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant on a full time basis, to commence as soon as possible working with students who have social, emotional and mental health difficulties. The school are looking for someone with a sporting background, who can use their skills to coach and encourage pupils with social, emotional and mental health difficulties.

The successful candidate will have the option to work with secondary pupils; the students are in need of extra support and guidance during their lesson time. The main aspect of the role will be helping the students to engage with their learning, and encouraging personal and social development whilst managing challenging behaviour throughout the day. Students in this provision often display extremely challenging behaviour and the successful candidate will be confident in approaching this. Alongside this, you will be participating in sports coaching sessions with pupils!
