Sports Coach and LSA positions in Secondary School

Job description

A secondary school in the Andover area are looking for sports coaches and learning support assistants to join their team.

The school has high numbers of pupils from challenging behaviours such as ADHD, ASC and SEMH. You will work closely with your colleagues to create action plans for students across the Key Stage 3-4, taking an active role in implementing a programme that positively encourages pupils to overcome barriers to learning, improve their skills and ultimately raise engagement and attainment in school.

Minimal Requirements:

  • A child workforce DBS on the update service, or one completed through Teaching Personnel
  • Be approachable and engaging with pupils and staff
  • Previous experience with SEN students is preferred, but we will consider those without experience
  • Be able to provide 2 references covering 6 years
