Lead with Purpose – Highly Specialist Speech & Language Therapist Wanted
Are you a skilled and passionate Speech and Language Therapist looking for a leadership role where your clinical expertise can make a lasting difference?
PWR is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a large charity – a forward-thinking service supporting adults with complex communication, sensory, and physical needs. We’re looking for a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to provide impactful, person-centred interventions in a vibrant, inclusive setting.
About the Role:
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Start Date: Flexible
Schedule: Full-time, Mon–Fri (part-time considered)
Contract: Permanent
Focus: Adults with complex speech, language, communication, and dysphagia needs
What You’ll Be Doing:
✔️ Deliver high-quality SALT input for a diverse caseload of adults
✔️ Lead a small team of Speech and Language Therapists
✔️ Provide expertise in areas such as AAC, sensory programmes & Intensive Interaction
✔️ Assess, plan, and deliver individualised intervention plans
✔️ Work collaboratively with families, support staff, and other professionals
✔️ Contribute to and shape a responsive, evolving therapy service
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
✅ Is a qualified and HCPC-registered Speech and Language Therapist
✅ Has experience working with adults with complex needs
✅ Brings strong leadership and supervisory skills
✅ Has specialist knowledge in Dysphagia (desirable)
✅ Is passionate about lifelong learning, inclusion, and empowerment
✅ Thrives in a multidisciplinary, person-centred environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
