Speech and Language Support Practitioner required on a 1:1 BB5

A fantastic and rewarding opportunity has arisen at a well commended Primary school just outside Accrington Town Centre. Teaching Personnel are working closely with the Head Teacher to get a clear understanding of the schools needs and requirements to ensure they get a suitable new member of staff to join their welcoming and successful team. The role involves working with a child on a 1:1 who is currently in Year 3. The child needs a dedicated practitioner to support him develop his Speech and Language skills. Due to this, experience supporting children with their Speech and Language needs is a necessity. The role is full time, Monday-Friday and you are required to support the child during Lunch Time's to enhance his confidence and encourage him to play with other children.

The School itself is a small one form entry School, which has recently been graded 'Good' by Ofsted. The Head Teacher has stated that the 'Children and Staff combined make a very warm and inviting atmosphere' she also said that the successful practitioner must deliver a passion working with children and adapt their teaching ways in order to suit the child needing support. The School is easily accessible and can be reached by bus or by train with nearby routes.

The salary is based on a 6.5 hour day, Monday to Friday, and depending on experience, this could vary between £8.40-£10.50 per hour.
