Year 6 Teacher – Long Term Role – CF62 – June Start
Teaching Personnel are working closely with a welcoming and supportive primary school in the CF62 area who are seeking a confident and experienced Year 6 Teacher to join their team from June on a long-term basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong classroom practitioner who thrives in upper Key Stage 2 and can confidently lead a Year 6 class through the final term, including SATs preparation and transition support into secondary school.
The Role:

Full-time Year 6 class teacher

Long-term placement starting in June

Planning, preparation and marking expected
-
Leading SATs revision and supporting pupils with exam confidence

Creating a focused, structured and engaging learning environment
What the School Is Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
-
Proven experience in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
-
Strong behaviour management skills – this is essential
-
Ability to maintain high expectations and clear classroom routines
-
Confident in data tracking and targeted interventions
-
Committed, reliable and proactive
The ideal candidate will be calm, consistent and able to build positive relationships while maintaining firm boundaries. The school values teachers who can balance structure with warmth and who are confident managing behaviour effectively to maximise learning time.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
