Job Title: Dorking - SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Dorking, Surrey - South East England
Job Type: Contract, Full-Time
Salary: £415 + a week
Job Description:
Job Duties:
- Supporting students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH) in their learning and development
- Assisting teachers in planning and delivering individualised education programmes
- Providing one-to-one support to students with SEMH
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
Experience:
- Previous experience working with SEN/SEMH students preferable
- Familiarity with behaviour management strategies
- Experience working in an educational setting
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Patience and empathy when working with students with SEN/SEMH
Working Conditions:
- Work primarily within a school setting
- Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
- Potential for additional training and development opportunities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
