Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for SEN teaching assistants to join their outstanding client primary school in Nantwich. This role is a temporary position but has the opportunity to become permanent.

As an SEN teaching assistant, you would be required to fully support pupils who are in need of extra provision to achieve their full potential. This may be demonstrated through one-to-one provision or running small group interventions to target key learning areas. You would deliver engaging and effective learning resources that target individual needs and support the class teacher in managing classroom behaviour. The successful SEN teaching assistant would be competent in recognising progress in academic, social and emotional areas, as well as identifying when learning plans should to be adjusted to suit the needs of the pupil.

Role requirements:

  • Must be willing and able to apply for a DBS certificate.
  • Must be able to provide two recent professional references.

Highlights of the role:

  • £1540 - £1800 per month paid through PAYE.
  • September 2023 start.
  • £50 refer a friend scheme.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
