Specialist learning Support Assistant
Job description
We are currently working alongside an outstanding local further education institute who is currently looking for learning support assistants to join their further expanding learning support team. The role will be from January 2020 on a full time basis.
The successful candidate will be vibrant, passionate and determined to have a positive impact on the learner’s success. This role would be ideal for graduates or those that need extra income.

Or go into employment, they want to empower their students to choose a path that they enjoy and will strive within.
The roles and responsibilities for the position include:
• Providing support to individual and small groups of learners in a Further Education setting.
• Use routine supervision to support learners, including those who have physical, emotional or educational needs.
• Encourage learners to interact and work co-operatively with others to ensure each is engaged on the set task.

The Southampton based college are looking for the right candidate to start January 2020, all candidates will be considered, and interviews will be arranged on application. The vacancy will stay online until the right candidate is placed.
