(SEN Teacher & Learning Support Assistants)

Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire—Excellent commuter links! Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only!)—Enjoy exceptional work-life balance. The Specialist Educator Role (SEN Teacher)

This is a dynamic teaching role for an individual ready to be a curriculum innovator and student advocate.

What You Will Do:

  • Pioneer Learning: Design and deliver highly creative, individualized lessons that unlock progress for every pupil, regardless of their barrier to learning.

  • Empower Growth: Use your expertise to drive significant academic milestones and foster essential life skills, celebrating every success.

  • Culture Creator: Build strong, positive relationships, managing classroom dynamics with a calm, restorative, and consistent approach.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our multi-disciplinary team to integrate therapeutic and academic strategies.

  • Flexibility Required: Role involves working across different sites/outreach settings. Own vehicle is essential for transporting pupils when required.


We're Looking For Talented Individuals Who Are:

We are looking for passion first, and credentials second. If you have the drive, we can provide the training!

  • For the Specialist Educator (Teacher) Role:

    • Essential: A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., QTS, PGCE) OR demonstrable, extensive experience leading curriculum delivery in an SEN environment.

    • Foundational Skills: Strong numeracy and literacy skills (GCSE Maths & English Grade C/4 or equivalent).

    • Experience: Proven ability to work effectively with students with Special Educational Needs.

  • Character & Soft Skills (The Must-Haves):

    • An inherently calm, patient, and compassionate nature.

    • Excellent communication, organizational, and technological skills.

    • A deep commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
