Teaching personnel are working closely with an SEN school based in Bradford that provides education for a wide range of needs including the following:
- Autistic Spectrum Condition, including Asperger’s Syndrome (ASC)
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)
- Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD)
- Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
The school, based in Bradford and caters for 108 pupils aged 3 – 19 are currently seeking a full time Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join their team. The role primarily involves working as a special needs teaching assistant supporting those who have additional learning needs in small groups and on a one - to - one basis. The role will also include personal care.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an aspiring team with potential for progression due to expansion. The leaders of the school are dedicated to quality of education at the school and they need the best Teaching Assistants to accomplish this.
Experience working with children or adults with additional needs is essential. Additional training including Team Teach, Intensive Interaction and/or PECS would also benefit your application.
