Special Needs Teacher
Are you a qualified or newly qualified teacher looking to have a positive impact on the lives of young people?
Teaching Personnel are recruiting teachers to work in Special Educational Need (SEN) provisions in Barnsley. We are looking for teachers with different specialisms- core subjects and creative ones! Students in these provisions have a range of needs which can include Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), moderate to severe learning difficulties, physical disabilities and communication and interaction difficulties.
You will provide interactive and accessible lessons to children at varying academic stages. Part of your role will also be to promote the social development of the children you teach. You will plan and lead children in off-site enrichment activities.
The candidates we look for will preferably have experience teaching children with SEN or have personal experience in supporting children with SEN. Some with a driving license and access to their own vehicle is desired as you may be required to travel between roles.
Teaching Personnel can offer you competitive daily rates, ranging between £110-£165 a day for teachers, dependant on experience and the role. You will get access to our CPD Academy- an online portal with tools to enhance your personal development. A dedicated Specialist Recruitment Consultant will guide you through each step of the recruitment process.
