Job description

Teaching Personnel are working with a specialist school in Portsmouth, supporting pupils aged 9–16 with a diverse range of Special Educational Needs to include Autism, Sensory Processing Differences, Speech, Language and Communication Needs, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges.

The schools' approach is rooted in relational and restorative practice, helping to build trust, resilience, and positive relationships across our school community.

We are looking for compassionate and committed Teaching Assistants who:

  • Have a strong understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and inclusive practice

  • Use initiative, reliability, and resilience in all they do

  • Believe in nurturing potential through patience, empathy, and creativity

  • Are ready to be part of a collaborative, supportive team that celebrates progress big and small

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
