SEN Teaching Assistant Required for a 3-19 SEN School in Cwmbran, Torfaen.
Are you looking for your next step as a Teaching assistant working with children who have additional learning needs? Then we have an opportunity for you!
We are currently working in partnership with a Specialist Special Educational Needs school in Cwmbran who are currently looking to employ a Teaching Assistant to support the class teacher in the implementation of an adapted curriculum which is accessible for all.
The school caters for children who have a range of Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties, Autism and challenging behaviour.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience or an interest of working with children who have additional learning needs including; Autism & Challenging Behaviour.
- Be motivated, passionate and have the right attitude to help support children throughout their daily life.
- Have a good sense of humour & the ability to fit into a strong team.
- Be available full time
What you really need to know about this opportunity:
- You will be supporting children with Additional Learning Needs within a 3-19 provision.
- You will need to be able to build rapport with young people and the wider team quickly and effectively.
- You will Gain experience and a better understanding of additional needs to support your future career aspirations.
This school has a large focus on promoting and developing life skills and as such the successful candidate would need to be motivated, passionate and have the right attitude to help support the children through their educational journey.
