SEN Teaching Assistants - Leicester
Many schools across Leicester are recruiting for Teaching/SEN Assistants to provide full classroom support, small group interventions and 121 SEN work.
Are you experienced in supporting pupils who present with ASC, behavioural challenges, moderate/severe learning difficulties or with social, emotional and mental health difficulties (SEMH) or other types of SEN?
The opportunities we have available vary from day to day/part-time to full-time and permanent work.
Teaching Personnel work in partnership with many mainstream primary schools across Leicester and are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to provide support within the classrooms and 121.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Experience working with SEN pupils
- Confident in the classroom dealing with challenging behaviours
- Team-Teach trained is not essential but would be an advantage
- Previous work with pupils with communication difficulties
- Able to demonstrate a positive impact on a child’s development
You would be joining a well-established and supportive team, where you would be well supported within your role and development would be highly encouraged.
