Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant

Here at Teaching Personnel we are currently looking to recruit a number of Teaching Assistants to help support the Primary department of a large Special Educational Needs School.

The school we are currently working for caters for a wide range of children with Special Educational Needs. To name a few, Autism, Asperger's Syndrome, Physical Disabilities and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties. Working under the guidance of your teachers you will be expected to follow the lesson plans given and ensure that your students are completing the tasks that are set.

Previous experience is desirable but not essential and ideally you would be available to start immediately. However Teaching Assistants who lack experience but have a genuine interest in SEN are more than welcome to apply.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
