- Full-time Spanish teacher required, April 2020 start.
- Temporary role covering a maternity leave for twelve months.
- Pay in line with MPS/UPS dependent on experience (GBP24,373-GBP40,490).
- Applicant must hold QTS and experience teaching Spanish up to GCSE.
- Large Ofsted graded ‘Good’ secondary school and sixth form in Bolton.
- Accessible via the M61 and public transportation links from Wigan & Bury.
Our partner secondary school and sixth form are currently looking to appoint a full-time Spanish teacher to cover a maternity leave within the MFL department. This temporary post will commence from April 2020, and will continue initially until February 2021 but may be subject to continuation. It is essential that the incoming Spanish teacher has experience teaching across Key Stage Three and GCSE, and can display good to outstanding teaching.
The successful Spanish teacher will be expected to deliver a full timetable across both Key Stage Three and GCSE, alongside partaking in full departmental planning and marking. Lessons must be assessed to meet the needs of all pupils with differentiation in tasks for those who require it to ensure an inclusive learning environment for all.
Situated in Bolton, our partner secondary school and sixth form can easily be accessed via the M61 through central Bolton. For non-drivers there are a number of public transportation links that lead directly to school from Chorley, Bury and areas of Wigan.
