Are you finishing or recently completed your sociology degree and looking for a job where you can utilise your knowledge and kick start your career?
Do you have what it takes to build positive relationships and make a real difference to the lives of children and young people at risk of exclusion from school?
If you said YES, you could work as a Behaviour and learning support assistant in Ealing working with young people in alternative education while gaining invaluable experience collaborating with therapists and teachers.
We have an amazing working opportunity for keen sociology graduates looking to gain or develop on current experience with cognitive, social and emotional needs. We work closely with a primary to Post-16 level provision in Ealing for children and young people that have struggled to learn in mainstream schools due to a range of learning and social difficulties.

Having an understanding of how society can effect children and young people's development both socially and educationally is vital. Sociology graduates are great applicants for this role due to their knowledge of social aspects and holistic approaches to support.
Roles are full-time during term times Monday to Friday each week 8:30am- 4:00pm to begin from the 23rd April 2019 and the school will be holding immediate interviews for successful applicants with the school's Head Teacher. The school are looking to appoint new 'Progress Leaders' who support the progress educationally and socially of pupils in an allocated class.
If you have a UK Sociology degree and either experience or confident in at least 3 of the following bullet points please get in touch:
- Confident in academic support (SATS, GCSE, A Levels and BTEC)

Please make sure you live in the area of Ealing or local to the borough as they look solely for punctual staff due to the needs of their pupils.
