Speech and language EYFS/Key Stage 1 teaching assistant needed for an Ofsted rated 'Outstanding' Salford (M3) based primary school
- Teaching assistant with SLCN experience essential
- EAL experience is also desirable
- Start date - September 3rd 2018
- Salary between £14,000 - £18,000 depending on experience
Teaching Personnel has been approached by an 'Outstanding' graded primary school in the Salford (M3) area, who are looking for a teaching assistant with experience in SLCN. The Salford primary school has had a large intake of children with speech and language needs in their EYFS and Key Stage 1 and needs an experienced Teaching Assistant to come in and help support the pupil's development.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience using different phonics systems
- Experience working with SLCN/SEN pupils
- Experience using PECS
- A nurturing and patient personality
- Previously worked across EYFS or KS1
The Bury primary school has a close relationship with the parents of their pupils and the local community with the aim of creating a caring and happy environment where the pupils will reach their potential. Graded 'Outstanding', the ideal candidate will be joining a dedicated team our practitioners and supported by a strong leadership team that encourages personal growth and has plenty of opportunities to enhance your own learning.
