The School Teaching Personnel have a long standing relationship with this School in Guildford. The school has an average of 55 pupils on roll with boarding facilities. They cater for boys with Social Emotional and Mental Health needs with additional special needs such as Autism and Complex Learning Needs who have either been excluded from mainstream education, or are unable to access mainstream education. The school is set in 42 acres of ideally situated, geographically Surrey countryside and developmentally and strategically able to become a leading Social, Emotional and Mental Health School within and across the South East, therefore candidates that can drive are more ideal but the bus stop is about a 10-15 minute walk to the school.

The Job Through Teaching Personnel, you will be working as a Maths Teacher working with KS3, 4 and 5. You will be responsible for termly topics across your class of 3-6 students and also 1:1 intervention to boost attainment levels. With a number of resources on hand and a very supportive Senior Leadership Team, you will be sure to fit in! As a Teacher of Maths you will be an outstanding classroom practitioner who consistently demonstrates the highest standards of delivery, is fully committed to raising attainment across all key stages and acutely aware of the strategies required to achieve the highest standards within their subject area. As a Maths Teacher you will work as part of a team in a warm, homely environment where students are supported and able to experience a wide range of activities (Including quad biking!) that encourage independence and acceptable behaviour in line with behaviour plans.

Minimum Requirements - UK Qualified Teacher Status or Overseas Equivalent - Previous experience working in a similar School setting, or evidence of strong Behaviour Management - A passion and enthusiasm to see pupils achieve their best potential - Dedication to the needs of all your pupils, working with other staff members to offer emotional and academic support - A Child Only DBS on the Update Service, or one done through Teaching Personnel
