The Role - Assistant Head Teacher

This assistant head teacher role is ideal for a middle leader that is looking to take a step up in their career. Preferably, you will have previous experience in a similar type of school or in a rather challenging mainstream school. For this assistant head teacher role, you will be required to lead on the curriculum across all year groups and will also be required to teach classes of around 6-8 students with behavioural difficulties including SEMH, ADHD, ADD and more.

This role is ideal for a primary or secondary trained teacher who has a passion for special educational needs, specifically those with SEMH. You must be an assistant head teacher with previous experience managing a team along with proven outstanding teaching practice.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
