SEND Teaching Assistant – Chorley

Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant
Location: Chorley
Length of Role: Temporary to permanent, starting ASAP
Pay Rate: £13.75 – £15 per hour
Setting: Mainstream Primary School

A friendly and inclusive primary school in Chorley is looking for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant who is enthusiastic about supporting pupils with additional needs. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands-on, child‑focused role within a mainstream setting.

You will work alongside the classroom teacher to provide 1:1 and small‑group support, adapting materials and activities to meet individual needs. Your role will involve helping pupils develop key learning, emotional, and social skills so they can fully access their education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
