SEND Teaching Assistant | Tiverton, Devon
Are you passionate about supporting young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Teaching Personnel’s partner school in Tiverton is looking for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team and make a real difference in students’ lives.
Job Details:
Start Date: January 2026
Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary to Permanent
Hours: 8:00 am – 3:00pm (Monday to Friday)
Pay: £90.00 - £100.00 per day (based on experience)
About our Partner School:
Teaching Personnel’s partner school in Tiverton provides specialist education for students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism, and other learning difficulties. With a trauma-informed approach, the school offers a safe and structured environment where students receive tailored support to help them achieve academic and personal success.
What We’re Looking For:
- Passion for working with SEN students
- Experience in education or care (preferred but not essential)
- Strong communication skills, patience, and resilience
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
- A proactive and adaptable approach to learning support

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
