SEN Tutor
Salary:
£25 - £35 Per hour
Job Duties:
- Provide individualised academic support to students with special educational needs (SEN)
- Develop and implement tailored learning plans based on students' specific needs
- Assist students in improving their academic performance and achieving learning goals
- Monitor and track student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with students with SEN
- Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
Experience:
At least 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring students with SEN
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of SEN legislation and best practises
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
- Organisational skills and the ability to maintain accurate student records
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Special Education Needs
- Experience in conducting assessments and creating individual education plans
Working Conditions:
- Part-Time hours, with flexibility in scheduling
- Work primarily in educational settings such as schools or learning centres
- Collaborate with other education professionals and parents to support student development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
