SEN Tutor

We are seeking dedicated and patient tutors to provide 1:1 SEN support for pupils in Leicester area. Many of these learners may be outside of mainstream school or require additional help due to special educational needs, and your role will be to deliver tailored tuition that builds confidence, independence, and progress.

You’ll work with pupils in their homes or local community settings, creating engaging lessons that reflect their individual needs and learning styles. Support may include core subjects, social skills, and confidence-building activities.

We’re looking for individuals who can:

• Deliver personalised tuition for pupils with a range of SEN

• Adapt lessons creatively to suit different learning needs

• Build positive relationships and provide encouragement

• Support pupils in re-engaging with education at their own pace

• £25–£30 per hour (experience dependent)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
