SEN Tutor
Salary:
£25 - £35 Per hour
Job Duties:
The SEN Tutor will be responsible for providing tailored support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This includes creating individualised learning plans, delivering lessons in a way that accommodates different learning styles, and monitoring progress closely.
Required Qualifications:
A relevant teaching qualification or equivalent experience in the field of Special Education Needs. Knowledge of SEN policies and procedures. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Education:
A degree in Education or a related field is preferred but not essential.
Experience:
Prior experience working with students with SEN in an educational setting is highly desirable.
Knowledge and Skills:
Understanding of different learning needs and how to adapt teaching methods accordingly. Ability to create engaging and inclusive learning environments. Patience and empathy in supporting students with SEN.
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional training or certifications in Special Educational Needs (SEN) would be advantageous.
Working Conditions:
This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis. The SEN Tutor will primarily work within an educational institution in Greater London, Haringey.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
