SEN Teaching Assistants Needed in Hampton area

Outstanding SEN School in Hampton looking staff to start immediately

We are currently recruiting for experienced SEN Teaching Assistants. The role is to start immediately and continue through the academic year. The school is a day community special school for pupils aged 4-16 with moderate learning difficulties and additional complex needs (including Autism). There are places for 100 young people, usually in classes of around 12. The team work together to provide the best education and pastoral care to ensure that the school is a place of learning for everyone.

They are looking for experienced Teaching Assistants to work across EYFS, KS1, KS2, KS3 and KS4. Team teach training is ideal but not essential, as training can be provided through Teaching Personnel. In addition we offer other training courses and opportunities for career progression throughout the year. We have been in operation for 20 years and have a great reputation for pay, conditions and support within the role.

The school are looking for someone that is able to support and encourage children to develop academically and socially. Excellent behaviour management skills are a must.

Desired backgrounds include Sports (coaching), Psychology, Youth Work, Art and Design and Music and training such as Team-teach Positive Intervention is desirable but can also be offered through our agency.
