Job Opportunity: SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) – Trafford
Location: Trafford, Greater Manchester
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time (term time only)
Start Date: January 2025
Salary: £90 – £100 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

The Role:
As a SEN TA, you will work closely with teaching staff to support pupils with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and learning delays. This may involve:
- 1:1 support for individual pupils
- Assisting small group work within the classroom
- Implementing tailored learning and behaviour strategies
- Supporting emotional wellbeing and encouraging social interaction
- Liaising with SENCOs and external specialists
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
✅ Experience working with children with SEN (in school, care, or a similar setting)
✅ A patient, positive, and adaptable attitude
✅ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
✅ A commitment to safeguarding and supporting all pupils
✅ Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential
