Have you ever considered working with children with Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties and Physical Disabilities? Do you have previous experience working with children or adults with a range of educational and additional needs? Are you passionate about working with children and helping them to reach their full potential?

A purpose built, all-through, SEN school in Milton Keynes that caters for children aged 2-19 are interested in meeting with people that are engaging, interactive, and dedicated to working with children with complex needs.

No experience or official qualifications are necessary; however, it would be desirable if you had some experience or exposure to children or adults with Special Educational Needs, perhaps from working in a health and social care environment. We often find that the best SEN Teaching Assistants are those with a background in community work or those that have worked with vulnerable children outside of a classroom.

The ideal candidate will need to…

  • Be approachable to other members of staff and students
  • Be open to dealing with students that will display challenging behaviour
  • Display a willingness to adapt and change to a fast-moving environment
  • Work alongside members of Senior Leadership Team such as the head-teacher and deputy head

In return, Teaching Personnel can offer you…

  • A competitive daily rate of between ÂŁ50-ÂŁ70 (DOE)
  • The option to work across multiple sectors of education (primary, secondary, SEN)
  • On-going support from a Specialist Recruitment Consultant
  • Access to additional CPD courses and qualifications to improve your career

If you have previously worked with children in any capacity, either in a school or outside of the classroom then I would love to hear from you.
