SEN Teaching Assistant required in the Milton Keynes Area

Teaching Personnel are working with a SEN school in Milton Keynes who are looking to employ several SEN Teaching Assistants to support on a 1:1 and small group basis. The school cares for students with Autism Spectrum Conditions, profound and multiple learning difficulties and severe learning difficulties.
Your key duties within the school would be:
* Support students on a 1:1 and small group basis
* Use positive behaviour management
* Follow Individual Education Plans
* Work under the direction of the class teacher
The successful candidate will need:
* Previous experience supporting children with SEN preferably within and SEN school, but this is not essential.
* To be able to drive
* Training in Team Teach or similar as a desirable
* To have a flexible approach to their work and change dependant on the child and teachers needs
Students get to take part in different activities including sporting events, gardening, cooking and day trips out, so having a keen interest in these areas is important.
