Teaching Personnel are proud to be working exclusively with a Primary school in Swadlincote who are seeking a full time Support Assistants to start after half term. Despite being a mainstream school, the school caters for pupils aged 3-11 with mild, severe and complex learning needs. Some pupils also have additional sensory, physical, medical, social or emotional needs.
You will be required to support pupils across the primary Key Stages, who follow a Primary or Nursery curriculum. As well as supporting Phonics, Literacy and Numeracy you will be required to support in creative Art and play lessons. If you enjoy fun and creative play with playdoh, painting and shaving foam then this could be the role for you.
The school have outstanding facilities and are passionate about supporting the needs of every individual student. The school are happy to see candidates with little experience, but you must be energetic, positive and confident to be able to excel in this particular environment. Ongoing training is available from the school and a great career pathway.
