Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant?
Are you passionate about education and helping pupils reach their full potential?
Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a role in Belper for an experienced KS1 teaching assistant with prior experience working with pupils with SEN. You would play an integral part within the school and be joining a team of supportive and committed staff. This role is a full-time position starting as soon as possible.
The role would include aiding the teacher with the day to day running of the class throughout the day, offering support to the teacher in creating a safe and fun working environment, monitoring the progress and development of the pupils.
The role would also include working 1:1 with a pupil with SEN each afternoon, the pupil has ASC and therefore would require support completing their day to day school activities, including forming relationships with his classmates and Teachers, behavioural guidance and confidence reassurance.
The ideal candidate would have:
- Experience working with SEN pupils
- Enhanced DBS on the update service
- Safeguarding training
- A hard working and positive attitude to all aspects of work
- Experience working in a Teaching Assistant role
- A UK address and right to work
- Flexibility in terms of transport
