Exciting Opportunity for SEN Specialist Teaching Assistants in Bolton!
Teaching Personnel is thrilled to partner with a well-respected secondary school in Bolton, currently seeking dedicated SEN Specialist Teaching Assistants for an immediate start.
About the Roles:
- Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
- Location: BL6
- Type: Full-time, for the remainder of the academic year
- Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support to pupils with a range of special educational needs (SEN), including those on the autism spectrum (ASC) and with other specific requirements.
- Promote positive learning and behavior, helping students make consistent progress in class.
- Work under the guidance of the SENCO to create a supportive and effective learning environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working with children with ASC and challenging behavior is essential.
- Enthusiastic, energetic, and proactive attitude, with a calm demeanor to manage and defuse stressful situations.
- Must hold or be willing to apply for a Child Workforce Enhanced DBS Certificate.
