SEN Teaching Assistant

A lovely primary school based in Cardiff area are looking to recruit an SEN Teaching Assistant to join the team after October half term. The School are looking for enthusiastic, engaging and nurturing team members. They are ideally looking for Teaching Assistants who have a passion for supporting Special Educational Needs.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• SEN Teaching Assistant
• Supporting a variety of SEN; Autism (ASD), Dyslexia, ADHD and Speech & Language difficulties
• 1:1 and group support – In and out of the classroom
• Working alongside a range of professionals and SENCO
• Attending regular training sessions
• Start after October half term for whole academic year
• GBP60-GBP70

Requirements

• Must have previous SEN experience (e.g. within education, personal, volunteering or coaching)
• You must be able to use own initiative, be patient and nurturing
• Strong understanding of SEN is required
• Must be registered on the DBS Update Service
• Must be registered with the Education Workforce Council

Contract length: Until end of academic year

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday (term time online)
