Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant – Allerton
Do you have experience working with children with autism?
Do you feel comfortable working with children with complex SEN needs?
A mainstream primary school located in Allerton, are looking for an experienced Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant, to work one to one with a pupil with autism in Year 2. The role is set to begin in September 2020 full time Monday – Friday. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with individuals with autism, and be confident working one to one on a long term basis.
The pupil is high functioning, and requires emotional support and mentoring.
The school are looking for someone who can commit to the role, and remain consistent for continuity for the pupil.
The role:
- Start date, September 2020
- Full time fixed term contract
- Allerton area
- GBP10 - GBP11 per hour
- Monday – Friday
This school has been graded a ‘Good’ school by Ofsted, and the SENCO is seeking a bubbly, bright and experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team.
The ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with individuals with autism
- Experienced working alongside children with lower level learning and special educational needs
- Experience with the primary curriculum
- Hard working and committed to supporting children with a variety of learning needs
- Patient and supportive manner
