We have an amazing opportunity for the perfect TA.
Teaching personnel are looking for a Full Time Special Education Needs Teaching assistant in a mixed Secondary School in Monmouthshire, Wales. The position is a Full-time role to start ASAP until July (End of the School year)
Overview
- The role will require assisting the SEN department of the school by helping with the bespoke care on a 1 to 1 basis with a pupil in year 8
- You will be helping with the day-to-day education and wellbeing of the pupil
- You will be supporting Autism and ADHD.
- The perfect SEN TA will need to be patient and resilient as this can sometimes be a challenging role
The Ideal Teaching Assistant
- Will be passionate and enthusiastic about education
- Experience working with children with special needs
- Some knowledge or experience with SEN
- Available Full-time Monday to Friday School working hours
The Teaching Assistant must have:
- Enhanced DBS (assistance provided)
- Registered with the education workforce council (assistance provided)
- A minimum of core GCSE's
- Available full time Safeguarding Trained (assistance provided)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
