SEN Teaching Assistant

Job description

I am looking for a Sports Graduate or Teaching Assistant to start at a fantastic educational facility in Scunthorpe. The individually will need experience teaching or working with a variety of different SEN needs ranging from moderate to severe including Autism, Physical Disability and speech and language difficulties.

The schools aim is to provide every student with best possible academic experience and whilst also providing a platform for each student to develop their social and life skills. The school has a wide range of female and male student aged 11 to 19 years of age. The right candidate must have the right attitude and motivation to help every student succeed

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous SEN experience including ASC and MLD
  • Previous Teaching Assistant experience
  • Experience of working with coaching or education plans
  • A Child Only Enhanced DBS (you can apply through teaching personnel)
  • A caring nature with the ability to relate and motivate a SEN children
  • Commitment of 08:30 to 15:30 Monday to Friday

Working for Teaching Personnel:

  • GBP57 to GBP65 a day (Dependant on experience)
