Are you a SEN TA seeking a new position in September?

There is currently a vacancy for a passionate SEN teaching assistant for at a very successful, inclusive, vibrant, Rochdale school where all of the community are valued and all achievements are celebrated. Working alongside the SEN department supporting pupils with a wide variety of additional needs and assisting them in reaching the curriculum.

Working as an SEN Teaching Assistant is a very important and rewarding role where every day will offer you different challenges, due to this patience and dedication is a must. You will be required to support each pupils individual need and use your initiative to assist in their development, reporting on progress weekly.

Duties of an SEN Teaching Assistant include:

  • Supporting pupils on their individual needs, whether these are educational, emotional, physical or behaviour related.
  • Help boost self esteem and drive them to reach their individual targets
  • Build rapport with pupils, staff and parents.
  • Support the SEN department, delivering individual plans for pupils and reporting on progress weekly
  • Being confident and able to work with a wide variety of SEN

Our client school is a very successful large mixed school In Rochdale where all of the community are valued and all achievements are celebrated. Being an international school and a centre of excellence for languages in Greater Manchester. It has an enviable and growing reputation, both locally and nationally, as a high achieving school. the school is a short distance from Rochdale infirmary and close to major transport links from the city centre, including Rochdale railway station and Rochdale interchange.
