Job description

Learning Support Assistant – SEN School

Location: West London (Ealing, Hounslow, Hillingdon)
Pay: £95 – £110 per day
Start: Immediate start available

We are seeking dedicated Learning Support Assistants to work in specialist schools across West London supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs including Autism, learning difficulties and SEMH.

This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting young people and helping them access education in a structured and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting students 1:1 and in small groups
  • Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities
  • Supporting behaviour management strategies
  • Encouraging independence and engagement in learning
  • Working closely with teachers and SEN professionals

Ideal Backgrounds

We welcome applicants with experience in:

  • Teaching assistant roles
  • Youth work
  • Behaviour mentoring
  • Care or support work
  • Healthcare support
  • Psychology or education graduates

Experience supporting Autism or behavioural needs is highly desirable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
