Nursery Practitioners - Full Time and Part Time

Location: Gloucester
Pay: From £13.27 per hour | Hours available between 8.00 am and 6.00 pm
We are currently recruiting Level 2 and Level 3 Nursery Practitioners for a number of welcoming, well resourced nurseries in the Gloucester area. There are both full time and part time opportunities available, with shifts falling between 8.00 am and 6.00 pm.
These roles are ideal for practitioners who are passionate about early years and want to make a positive difference in a nurturing, supportive environment.
Role responsibilities:
- Provide high quality care in line with the EYFS framework
- Support children’s learning and development through play based, age appropriate activities
- Contribute to a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment, both indoors and outdoors
- Build warm, professional relationships with children, colleagues and parents
- Assist with daily routines, including meal times, personal care and transitions
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies at all times
Requirements:
- A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare
- Nursery or early years experience (placement or paid) is ideal
- A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection
- Reliable, professional and confident working as part of a team
- A genuine enthusiasm for working with babies and young children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
