Job role: SEN Teaching assistant

Location: Fishponds 

Salary: GBP60 - GBP70

Urgently Needed

Do you enjoy working with children and want to play a key role in children’s education? Teaching Personnel are looking for an enthusiastic teaching assistant for a wonderful school in the Fishponds area, which can be easily accessed by public transport. This is a very exciting new full time opportunity

This position will be Monday to Friday, 8:30 – 3:30, fixed term until the end of the academic year.

About the role:

You will be working 1:1 with a child with SEN, who needs extra support educationally and emotionally. This vacancy will be very rewarding as you will be able to see the real difference you are making.

Desirable qualities:

  • Do you have any qualifications or experience working with SEN children or children with challenging behaviour?
  • Are you flexible, creative and able to build and create relationships with pupils easily?
  • Are you punctual and reliable?
  • Do you have a calm and patient approach to your work?

For this role you will need:

  • DBS ( we can assist you with this )
  • Two references
  • The right to work in the UK
