If so, Teaching Personnel are currently looking for a individuals to join our excellent team of Teaching Assistants to work within our fantastic special needs provisions in the Newcastle area. If this role interests you – please apply NOW!
As a SEN Learning Support Assistant you will be working in small classes of students alongside children needing extra support and guidance with their learning and life skills. The children you will be working with have a multitude of special educational needs requirements such as:
- Understanding new or complex information
- Learning new skills
- Coping independently
- Speech Language and Communication Needs
The successful candidate must have experience working with some of the following:
- Experience with special educational needs and disabilities
- To be confident supporting children and young people with different types of SEN
- Experience working a Carer or Support Worker
- Worked in specialist provisions
Teaching Personnel can offer the successful candidate:
- Competitive rates of GBP275-350 per week, however long term rates can be negotiated on your behalf
- Access to unique CPD opportunities to increase your qualifications and knowledge of the field such as: Autism Awareness, Safeguarding, Behaviour that Challenges and more
- An experienced Consultant along with our dedicated on call service
To be accepted for this role, you must have a Child Workforce Only DBS that is registered on the Update Service, or be happy to apply for one through ourselves.
