SEN TA Position, Manchester Primary School, Openshaw (M11)

A client school in the Openshaw area of Manchester (M11) are working closely with Teaching Personnel to recruit a committed Teaching Assistant to join their KS2 staffing team full-time. Starting in September 2021 and continuing for the rest of the academic year.

This role is to work within the school’s vibrant year 3 class alongside a child with ASC who needs extra support on a 1:1 basis. This child works from an EHCP so experience of working from a tailored learning plan is preferred but not essential. Experience  of building strong working relationships with primary aged children would be ideal as the child can sometimes struggle with social interaction with classmates.

The successful TA will have the opportunity to within a 2 form primary school in the Openshaw area of Manchester (M11). In this ‘GOOD’ rated school ‘staff and pupils agree that this is a happy place to be’. In return the school can offer competitive rates of pay dependant on experience, the opportunity to work within a ‘GOOD’ school and a well support environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
