SEN Teaching Assistant - Nuneaton

September Start

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a primary school based in Nuneaton, CV11. who are currently looking to appoint an SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child with Autism and the associated behavioural challenges. 

The role will be working 1:1 with a Year 3 pupil; ensuring the child is nurtured, their individual needs are met and behaviour is managed.

The successful candidate will be supported by both the class teacher and the SENCo, who are eager for this child to excel within their school environment. 

To be considered for this role you will need:

  • Experience working with Autism OR experience working with challenging behaviours
  • School or residential based experience
  • An empathetic but strong personality
  • Resilience 
  • A desire to make a positive impact on the lives of students

This role does have the opportunity of a permanent contract, for the right candidate.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
