SEN Teaching Assistant Required | NG15 Nottingham

Teaching Personnel are currently working closely alongside a client school, who have an exciting opportunity for a specialist teaching assistant to work closely alongside primary schools pupils with a range of special educational needs. The position is set to start immediately after October half term, and continue indefinitely, with the opportunity for the right person to go onto a permanent candidate with the school.

Previous experience working with SEN is essential, with the school looking for somebody who:

  • Is confident, engaging and has the ability to motivate within a classroom environment
  • Ideally has a level 3 qualification (or equivalent)
  • Has previous experience working with ASC, ADHD and Behaviour
  • Is comfortable working 1:1 and in small groups

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
