A client Primary school in Whalley Range, Manchester (M16) is seeking a specialist SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a larger than average Primary School. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting children with a range of SEN and will have an open and flexible approach to supporting children with a range of needs. The position will be to work in the schools SEN provision which consists of 9 children aged between 6 - 10. The children with in the provision all work from specific IEP's which the schools SENCO works continually to assess and amend. The ideal candidate will work closely with other members of staff with in the provision and the schools SENCO to monitor and move on learning at all times.
The post will start in after the Easter holidays and will run up until the end of the academic year initially. The opportunity for extension may be possible for the right person. It is essential that applicants have experience supporting children with specific SEN.
The school is dedicated to making learning 'inclusive' for every child and is looking for a compassionate practitioner to join their team of experienced and well organised Teaching Assistants.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
